What if I lose the code?
The 12-word backup phrase opens the same wallet — it is the code written in words. Lose both and the balance is gone: there is no account, no email and no identity to recover it against. That is the price of a wallet that nobody can tie to you.
Is the balance refundable?
The balance is prepaid credit for esimker, not a bank account, and is not paid back out. An order that fails to be issued is refunded to the wallet.
Why is the first deposit $10?
The cheapest plans cost about $1, so a $10 balance is a few real purchases. After the first deposit you can add as little as $1.
Does the cashback apply to gifts and top-ups?
