Where your traffic comes out
United Kingdom. Websites see you there, not in the country you are visiting; streaming catalogues and apps that check your location go by that address.
After the daily allowance
A Daily Unlimited pass slows to 384 Kbps, 512 Kbps, or 1 Mbps until the next day. It is never cut off. How daily passes work
Top-ups
Add data to the same eSIM later, with no new QR code. A Daily Unlimited pass is bought for its full number of days and cannot be extended.
Buying ahead
Install any time within 180 days of purchase. For most plans the days start counting on the first connection at the destination, not at checkout.
Calls and SMS
Data only, with no phone number. Call over a messenger; a service that verifies you by SMS cannot reach this eSIM.

Armenia: compact, mountainous, easy to cover

Most of what a visitor does in Armenia happens within a few hours of Yerevan, and the networks follow the roads: the capital, Lake Sevan, Dilijan, Gyumri and the highway south towards Goris and Tatev are covered. What the map hides is the terrain. Armenia is gorges and passes, and a monastery at the bottom of a canyon or a trail on Aragats can have no signal a kilometre from a village that has full bars. Download the map for a day trip before you leave the city.

A local SIM needs your passport at an operator's shop. For a short trip, or a stopover on the way to Georgia, a roaming eSIM saves the errand: install it at home and it connects on arrival. Armenia has discussed registering every phone's IMEI; as of 2026 that is a draft law, and a phone on roaming would not be a local subscription either way.

The eSIM carries data only, with no Armenian number. Taxis are ordered in GG or Yandex Go, both of which take the number you already have, and most guesthouses and guides answer on WhatsApp or Telegram.

Which plan for which trip

Messengers and maps are light. Video, calls and a laptop on a hotspot are what use data up.

How to install it

  1. 01

    Check your phone

It has to take an eSIM and must not be locked to a carrier. Does your phone support eSIM?

  2. 02

    Scan the QR code

After payment the QR code is on your order page. Scan it in the phone's settings — at home, over Wi-Fi.

  3. 03

Switch it on when you land

Turn on data roaming for the esimker line. It finds the network by itself.

Frequently asked questions

› Is there coverage at Tatev, Dilijan and Lake Sevan?

In the towns and at the main sites, yes. In gorges and on mountain trails the signal drops, sometimes within sight of a covered village.

› Can I use one eSIM for Armenia and Georgia?

Not this one — it covers Armenia only. For Georgia take the Georgia plan as well: a phone holds several eSIMs, and you switch between them at the border.

› Do I need to register my phone in Armenia?

No. There is no IMEI registration for visitors in force as of 2026, and a roaming eSIM is not a local subscription.
