Daily Unlimited

eSIM Asia: what you get
- Networks
- 36 networks in 19 countries and regions — listed below
- Speed
- Up to 5G where the network has it, 4G elsewhere
- Where your traffic comes out
- United Kingdom or Norway. Websites see that address in every country of the plan.
- After the daily allowance
- A Daily Unlimited pass slows to 384 Kbps until the next day. It is never cut off. How daily passes work
- Top-ups
- Add data to the same eSIM later, with no new QR code. A Daily Unlimited pass is bought for its full number of days and cannot be extended.
- Buying ahead
- Install any time within 180 days of purchase. For most plans the days start counting on the first connection at the destination, not at checkout.
- Calls and SMS
- Data only, with no phone number. Call over a messenger; a service that verifies you by SMS cannot reach this eSIM.
Asia on one eSIM: from Tokyo to Tashkent, mainland China included
This plan runs across the continent: Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong and mainland China in the east; Thailand, Vietnam, Laos, Indonesia and the Philippines in the south-east; India and Sri Lanka; and Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan in Central Asia. For a loop through Japan, Korea and Taiwan, or a few months overland from Bangkok to Hanoi, it is one allowance and nothing to change at a border.
Two things follow from its being a roaming eSIM. In mainland China its traffic comes out outside the mainland — the table above says where — so Google, WhatsApp and Instagram, blocked there, generally open without a VPN. And the handset registers that Indonesia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan keep for phones on local SIMs do not apply to a phone in roaming, so a long route through them needs nothing registered.
Asia here is not all of Asia. Cambodia, Macao, Nepal, Mongolia and the Maldives are not on the list, and neither are the Gulf states or Turkey. A detour to Angkor Wat needs a plan that names Cambodia. Check the table below for every stop; the plan is prepaid and carries data only.
Which plan for which trip
Messengers and maps are light. Video, calls and a laptop on a hotspot are what use data up.
How to install it
- 01
Check your phone
It has to take an eSIM and must not be locked to a carrier. Does your phone support eSIM?
- 02
Scan the QR code
After payment the QR code is on your order page. Scan it in the phone's settings — at home, over Wi-Fi.
- 03
Switch it on when you land
Turn on data roaming for the esimker line. It finds the network by itself.

Frequently asked questions
› Does it work in mainland China without a VPN?
Yes. The eSIM roams there and its traffic comes out outside the mainland, so the blocked services are generally reachable.
› Does it cover Cambodia or Nepal?
No. Neither is on the list, nor are Macao, Mongolia and the Maldives. Those stops need a plan of their own.
› What happens when I fly from one country to the next?
Nothing you need to do. The eSIM connects to a network in the next country and the same allowance carries on.
